From the top there is a view of most of Fur and the whole of the central part of the Limfjord country: Salling to the south, Mors to the west with Thy behind, Hanherred to the north, as well as Liv\u00f8 and the Himmerland coast to the east.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the boundary of the large, active pier to the north lay until 1962 Bette Jenses Hyw (Lille Jenses High), which was originally the highest point of the island. In 1962, the unpowered mound was excavated to make way for the extraction of raw materials.
