Little Knudshoved
Fur's westernmost point is Lille Knudshoved, and which at the Knudeklinterne to the north goes slope and fjord almost in one.
The cliff is primarily made up of piers topped by a few meters of moraine cliffs and eventually overlaid by meltwater sand. Above the cliff are remnants of the lightning fields that covered Nordfur around the year 1800. An old sea cliff from the Stone Age forms the transition to the beach meadows to the south. In clear weather, the view of Salling and Mors is nothing short of formidable.
A good starting point for a visit to Lille Knudshoved is Fur Bryghus, where you can park your car. After the walk you can enjoy a glass of hops bryggeriet.
