Møllehøj
To the east of Stisagervej lies Møllehøj, a well-preserved large mound that was found in 1997. An erected stone gave rise to an archaeological excavation with a surprising result. In the middle of the hill there were traces of a 4,500-year-old wooden-built burial chamber and the foundation trenches for two stubble mills from the Middle Ages. Also surprising was the size. The curbs that surround the mound form a circle 29 meters in diameter. The mound proved to be so well preserved that it was protected.
There is parking at Møllehøj and a surprisingly nice view.
