Smedje High
The grassy and heather-covered Smedehøj is located 72 meters above the fjord and has a magnificent view especially towards Nordmors and Livø. To the west of the Blacksmiths, the landscape is characterized more and more by the pier.
To Smedehøj is a story about a cheerful mountain man. Said evenly, he liked women, but since nobody was his own age, he got a good look at the island's younger girls.
In the pursuit of love, he ended up abducting a peasant wife from Debel. Hubby's wife was out of his own right, but the mountain man asked him to smoke and travel. After a long time, however, the man succeeded in winning back his wife. But when she returned home, she died in the chair by the stove.
Near the Blacksmiths there is a parking lot with benches and tables.
